Rosie's pups - 1 day old

Rosie's Pups have Arrived!!

Rosie's pups arrived last night in the middle of the night.   Officially their birthday will be April 28.   We have 7 happy and healthy pups - 3 girls and 4 boys.   Most are apricot and there are one or two reds.   Several have some cute white mismarks on their forehead, chest, toes, and tail.

Now all the pups are allocated, we are working to get them ready to go to their new homes.   Today everyone had a bath and a bum trim.   Last weekend everyone had nail trims.   The pups have a crate built into their puppy area now so they can get used to going into a crate.  Vaccines are scheduled for Cassonade's pups this Saturday.   Guinness's pups go next Thursday, May 3.   Cassonade's pups are also scheduled for their spay/neuter on Thursday, May 3.

We have one black girl still available from Cassonade's litter and one black girl, one black boy, and one black/white boy from Guinness's litter.

Rosie has 7 pups!  Here is the x-ray.....

Hershey's ultrasound indicated 5 healthy pups!

Hershey had her ultrasound last night and we counted 5 strongly beating hearts.  She is just over 3 weeks into her pregnancy.  We expect the pups around May 20.

Rosie has her x-ray on Monday to confirm numbers as we expect her pups anytime after Thursday, April 26.

Thankfully all the families have been by to see the pups in person in recent weeks because I've not been very good about getting photos.   That is because I was waiting for a talented amateur to take them for me.  So here they are.  I'm not sure who is who right now.....  There are more coming.....

Rosie Ultrasound

Rosie had her ultrasound on Tuesday, March 27.  We counted at least 6, maybe 7 pups!  Rosie's last litter was 7 pups.  These pups will be apricot and red and will mature around 25lbs and 16 inches at the shoulder.
